What happens in a Bit and Bridle fitting session?

  • Head, neck and mouth assessment
  • Bridle fit assessment
  • Ridden assessment
  • Changes to bit / bridle

First we start with an initial horse inspection including a head, neck and mouth assessment. This is to check for any soreness, asymmetry or any conformational issues that may present an issue to bit or bridle fit.

We then take a look at the fit of your current bit and bridle before a ridden assessment.

We will then make any necessary changes to the bridle, recommend a new bit and work with you trying them to ensure both horse and rider are happy with the choices.

Sessions usually last between 60-90 minutes and are priced at £65.
